Deebo Samuel's day ends early in Week 5 against Seahawks
San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel caught two of his three targets for 21 yards and rushed for four yards on two carries before leaving with a hamstring injury in the third quarter of the team’s Week 5 game versus the Seattle Seahawks.
Why It Matters: San Francisco’s ridiculous bad injury luck continues. Samuel had stayed healthy through four weeks and been able to return WR4 value with his all-purpose game. Now, it is safe to wonder if he has any chance of playing over the next week or two. Jacob Cowing and Brandin Cooks would appear to be the next in line if Samuel is ruled out for Week 6, although the former also left with an injury in this one. As a result, the 49ers could be done to Evans, Cooks and Watkins at receiver in a juicy Week 6 matchup with the Commanders.
