Danhausen Is Taking Over SmackDown With Very Nice, Very Evil Episode — Plus Pivotal Matches Ahead Of Crown Jewel

· · 2 min read

It’s Danhausen’s time. The day before Halloween, WWE’s most costume-friendly Superstar is taking over SmackDown on Friday in Charleston, West Virginia. While the episode is sure to have its share of Halloween-themed elements, there’s also two pivotal championship matches that could impact the Crown Jewel card on November 7. Let’s talk WWE.

The show is billed as Danhausen’s Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown, and it airs at 8 p.m. ET (7 p.m. CT, 5 p.m. PT) on USA Network from the Charleston Coliseum. He hasn’t been booked for a match, but he’s set to appear throughout the night.

Danhausen made his WWE debut with a win on the April 10 SmackDown. His Halloween week also included a Very Nice, Very Evil Halloween Special that streamed on WWE’s YouTube channel after NXT on Oct. 27.

Williams talked his way into his title shot by pointing to his WrestleMania 42 win over Zayn, and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis made the match official on Oct. 23.

Green retained the WWE Women’s Championship against Roxanne Perez on Oct. 23 with the Un-Pretty-Her. Bella, a WWE Hall of Famer, had been demanding a title shot for weeks.

I don’t expect Trick Williams or Nikki Bella to dethrone Sami Zayn or Chelsea Green — respectively. However, it wouldn’t be a complete shock to see a Money in the Bank cash-in that shakes up Crown Jewel.

More WWE Crown Jewel Coverage

Crown Jewel is still set for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but Riyadh Season moved the show to a new venue this week. Ticket holders are getting full refunds, with tickets set to be re-released within 48 hours.

As of now, we’ll have Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn and Chelsea Green vs. Liv Morgan. The question is: Would WWE prefer Roman Reigns vs. Penta or Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton? We’ll find out Friday night in Charleston.
