Dangote Refinery increases petrol price amid free delivery initiative

Dangote Refinery has raised its Premium Motor Spirit, PMS, gantry price for the second time in less than two weeks.

An oil market survey by DAILY POST showed that the Dangote Refinery increased its petrol gantry price to N1,200 per litre from N1,185 per litre.

This means that the mega refinery, which supplies the majority of Nigeria’s petrol demand, adjusted its fuel price by N15 per litre.

Earlier, on August 21, the Dangote Refinery raised its gantry price by N20 to N1,185 per litre from N1,165 per litre, indicating a N35 per litre increase in less than two weeks.

Despite the petrol price adjustment, the Dangote Refinery has continued its free petrol delivery initiative across 10 locations in Nigeria, including Abuja.

Meanwhile, DAILY POST reports that crude oil prices stood at $86.62 and $80.35 per barrel at the time of reporting.
