Dameon Pierce churns out 50 total yards and a score in Week 6

Philadelphia Eagles RB Dameon Pierce carried 12 times for 35 yards and a touchdown in a Week 6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. He also caught four of his five targets for 15 yards.

Why It Matters: The Eagles running back room has been decimated by injuries, so Pierce has gotten his chance the last two weeks. He had 11 carries for 14 yards last week against Jacksonville, so it would not be a stretch to say he didn’t take advantage. That said, the offensive line is missing some key pieces and Jalen Hurts was put on IR over the weekend. Pierce should only be considered an emergency fantasy start until Saquon Barkley returns, which could be as soon as Week 7.
