Dak Prescott is back at Dallas Cowboys training camp for another important season. The veteran quarterback is getting ready for his 11th NFL season with the team after Dallas missed the playoffs in 2025. Before practices started, one photo from training camp caught attention as Prescott began the year with high expectations.

Dak Prescott’s training camp physique draws attention

Prescott enters the 2026 season under familiar pressure. The 33-year-old is still looking to lead the Cowboys past the NFC Divisional Round for the first time in his career, making this another important year for both the quarterback and the franchise.

One early image from training camp showed Prescott with a more muscular build, drawing attention ahead of the preseason games, which begin on August 16 against the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field. The photo surfaced as the Cowboys opened camp, with Prescott preparing for a season that could define the next stage of his career.

The timing is important for Dallas. Prescott stayed healthy last season after facing injuries in earlier years. This allowed him to finish a full offseason program before joining camp.

The quarterback has gained attention for saying “Greatest Offense There Is” when talking about the Dallas offense. The team also added new players through the draft and made changes to the roster during the offseason. These moves give Prescott new teammates as the team aims to return to the playoffs.

The training camp is the first chance to see the new players on the field. It also gives Prescott a chance to build teamwork with his players before the regular season starts. 

While training camp won’t answer the biggest questions about the Cowboys, it helps Prescott get off to a strong start as he prepares for another season with hopes of making the playoffs.
