The Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, announced this development today, 21st April,2026, at his office in Osara, while presenting the official accreditation letter from the NUC dated 7th April, 2026, signed by the Director of Academic Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the NUC.

The six programmes that have received full accreditation are: Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Speaking on the achievement, Prof. Salawu described the accreditation as a testament to the commitment of the University’s management, staff, and students to academic excellence and national standards.
