Confluence University of Science and Technology, CUSTECH, Osara, Kogi State, has recorded a landmark achievement as the National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to six Engineering programmes offered by the University’s Faculty of Engineering.
The Vice Chancellor, Engr. Prof. Abdulrahman Asipita Salawu, FNSE, announced this development today, 21st April,2026, at his office in Osara, while presenting the official accreditation letter from the NUC dated 7th April, 2026, signed by the Director of Academic Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the NUC.
The six programmes that have received full accreditation are: Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.

Speaking on the achievement, Prof. Salawu described the accreditation as a testament to the commitment of the University’s management, staff, and students to academic excellence and national standards. He congratulated the entire University community, with special commendation to the staff and students of the Faculty of Engineering, whose dedication made this feat possible.
Moreso, Prof.Asipita expressed his appreciation to the Executive Governor of the State, Alh.Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his continued support to the progress of the University.
