COOU Adjusts Students’ Union Government Election Timetable

The management of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly known as Anambra State University, through the Office of the Dean of Student Affairs, has announced adjustments to the Students’ Union Government (SUG) Election Timetable.

According to the notice signed by the Dean of Student Affairs, Prof. Innocent Ngangah, all successful candidates are expected to assemble at the Student Affairs Office on Monday, 25th May 2026, for official presentation to the University Management.

The campaign period for all candidates will commence immediately on Monday, 25th May 2026, and will end on Sunday, 31st May 2026.

The manifesto session is scheduled to hold on Friday, 29th May 2026, at Nwazojie Hall, Igbariam Campus, by 12:00 noon.

The Students’ Union Government election has been fixed for Tuesday, 2nd June 2026.

Students and candidates have been advised to take note of the adjustments and comply accordingly.
