Indianapolis Colts‘ quarterback Daniel Jones will be a full-go for the team’s first training camp practice on Wednesday.

Throughout the offseason, this seemed to be the way that things were trending, as Jones has flown through the rehab process as he worked his way back from an Achilles injury. During OTAs, he took part in the individual portion of practices and then did 7-on-7s in minicamp.

As Shane Steichen has said, Jones’ availability on Day 1 of training camp is a credit to the work he’s put in, and his teammates have taken notice as well.

When working out with Jones a few weeks ago, Josh Downs said he forgot that Jones was injured. “He looked so good out there,” Downs said, via Colts.com.

Bernhard Raimann added that Jones was around the building all offseason “doing the dirty work” every morning.

Tyler Warren noted that throughout the recovery process, Jones’ attitude has remained the same. “He’s always been a player with an edge and a competitive spirit.”

Jones and the Colts’ offense will look to recreate and then sustain the level of play that they were able to show through the first half of last season. Through 10 games, the Colts were 8-2 with Jones being one of the most productive quarterbacks in football, while the offense was among the highest-scoring units.
