Six of the eight spots in the 2026 College World Series have been claimed and the last two will be filled Monday, weather permitting.

Sunday’s Game 2s at the Tuscaloosa and Lawrence super regionals were plagued by rain, eventually leading to the suspension of both games. 

Alabama vs. St. John’s will resume first Monday, with the Tide leading 7-2 in the eighth inning and six outs away from advancing to Omaha. Kansas and Oklahoma only got in three innings Sunday before they had to stop play with the Sooners leading 8-1. OU would move on to the CWS with a win. 

Will the leading teams close it out early Monday afternoon or will a decisive Game 3 be necessary?
