On a rainy night under the lights, Gauff also debuted a special US Open colorway of her signature Coco CG2 tennis shoe — in a color palette of dawn glow, enoki and NB Navy. The attention-grabbing shoe, available now on Newbalance.com, matches the colors of her two custom dresses for the the Grand Slam.
Gauff's US Open kit bridges performance-driven details and fashion-forward design. Her first-round dress was fashioned in NB Navy.
Her second look, not yet revealed, has both solid and patterned versions, and is illuminated in glow dawn and enoki hues.
Gauff also walked out in a reimagined bomber walk-on jacket with gathered cuffs and a two-way front zip, and completed her look with a bright purple racquet bag and matching duffle.

"New York is really special to me — this is where I won my first Grand Slam, and coming back here for the US Open is always incredible," said Gauff in a statement. "This kit captures the energy of the tournament. The silhouette makes me feel confident, and I love how it celebrates the city's fashion legacy."
Gauff relishes the opportunity to experiment with her on-court ensembles as well as her off-duty fashion looks. "On court, I've done a lot of things with New Balance that haven't been done before. Off court, it's all me trying to figure out how to express myself on a particular day," she told FN last year, when she won the Style Influencer of the Year Award at the FN Achievement Awards.

Gauff also admires Naomi Osaka's bold style on the court — and the latter did not disappoint when she stepped out for her own match at the U.S. Open on Monday evening. Osaka paid tribute to NBA legend Allen Iverson in a custom Who Decides War outfit that was styled by Law Roach. "She does a great job of being creative and doing things that haven't been done," Gauff told FN last year.
