Coaches poll reveal, where Clemson football will land in Top 25 college football rankings

The first week of August signals the beginning of the college football preseason polls.

The 2026 US LBM College Football Coaches preseason Top 25 poll will be released on Aug. 4.

Though not as directly involved with deciding the national champion as during the BCS era, the preseason polls set the public narratives early.

Clemson football returns several NFL draft prospects but is inexperienced at quarterback and running back.

USA TODAY Sports will unveil the preseason US LBM Coaches Top 25 live on YouTube, with instant analysis from the national team of college football experts Blake Toppmeyer, Matt Hayes, John Brice and Paul Myerberg and will include a special guest during the poll reveal.

be ranked in coaches poll preseason top 25?

After last season’s 7-6 record and with a new starting quarterback, the Tigers won’t be ranked inside the top 10 of the preseason poll as they were 12 months ago.

But they return two NFL draft prospects at wide receiver, have experience on the offensive line and a defense fortified by the transfer portal. And name brands get the benefit of the doubt during the summer months.
