Clemson quarterback rankings are incredibly low in EA College Football 27

EA College Football 27 paints a clear picture of where Clemson’s quarterback room stands entering the 2026 season. For a program that has featured stars like Deshaun Watson, Trevor Lawrence and Cade Klubnik over the past decade, the Tigers’ quarterback ratings are as low as they’ve been in years.

Christopher Vizzina checks in as the Tigers highest-rated quarterback with a 75 overall rating. That’s actually a slight drop from last year’s game, when he was rated a 78 overall despite serving as Klubnik’s backup. Vizzina enters fall camp as the favorite to win the starting job, but he’ll need to prove he can take the next step after limited game action a season ago.

Right behind him is Tait Reynolds, who earned a 74 overall rating. The former four-star recruit has generated plenty of buzz since arriving at Clemson and will have every opportunity to compete with Vizzina throughout preseason camp. The one-point gap between the two quarterbacks reflects just how open the battle remains heading into the season.

Freshman Brock Bradley rounds out the Tigers’ quarterback room with a 71 overall rating as he begins his college career.

The ratings highlight just how different Clemson’s quarterback situation looks compared to recent years. Even during the years EA Sports wasn’t producing a college football game, it’s hard to imagine the Tigers’ quarterback room receiving ratings this low. Clemson is replacing a proven starter in Klubnik and will rely on a quarterback with limited experience regardless of who wins the job.

Whether Vizzina or Reynolds emerges as the starter, Clemson will have an opportunity to outperform these ratings. For now, though, EA College Football 27 reflects the uncertainty surrounding one of the Tigers’ most important position battles.
