Christian Bale’s $214M True-Crime Epic Officially Lands on Netflix

· · 1 min read

Christian Bale is a chameleonic actor, and he’s more than capable of portraying men who are very good at their jobs, even if those jobs involve dressing like a giant bat. But he’s also a serious actor, and while he was making his name as Batman, he was also making another crime thriller that saw him swap Gotham City for the Great Depression era in America. Throw in a director of the caliber of Michael Mann and one of the most notorious bank robbers in American history, and you’ve got a movie that deserves considerably more attention than it usually gets.
