Chris Pratt’s Terminal List Franchise Future Confirmed At Prime Video
Prime Video has made a major decision regarding the future of its hit series, The Terminal List.
Chris Pratt is set to reprise his role as James Reece in Savage Son, an adaptation of Jack Carr’s bestselling novel. Prime Video is currently developing the project, which is inspired by the third installment in Carr’s book series. The show will bring Pratt back as the former Navy SEAL.
However, the streaming platform hasn’t revealed how the adaptation will fit into the franchise. It remains unclear whether Savage Son will serve as the third season of The Terminal List or become a separate series within the property, like the prequel The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.
The news comes shortly after The Terminal List returned for its second season on October 21, 2026. The show’s newest chapter adapts Carr’s second novel, True Believer, continuing Reece’s journey. The Terminal List season 1 debuted in July 2022 and followed the main character as he investigated the deaths of his fellow Navy SEALs and his family.
