Here is the Chiefs’ second official injury report of the week, courtesy of the team’s official website:

  • Left tackle Josh Simmons (Back) did not participate in practice. He is still recovering from a bulging disc in his lower back, head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday. Our Dakota Watson analyzed the injury earlier today.

  • Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (Knee) was a limited participant in practice for the second straight day; his knee is regularly managed with limited practice reps, but if he doesn’t play, the return of the next player on our list may be timely.

  • Safety Chamarri Conner (Knee) was a full participant in practice for the second consecutive day, putting him on track to make his season debut in Week 4. On Thursday, defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo said the coaching staff will “fit him in there, whether it’s safety or nickel in some packages.”
