Furthermore, the top fights on the year’s final numbered event were made official.

UFC 335 is the last numbered card of 2026 and closes the year out with a bang. The fight card takes place on Saturday, December 12th, in the fight capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Headlining the event, the BMF title is back on the line. Charles Oliveira returns to the octagon and welcomes former featherweight title challenger Diego Lopes to the lightweight division.

Oliveira is coming off a dominant decision victory over Max Holloway, where he won the BMF title.

Diego Lopes failed to win the 145-pound title in two tries against Alexander Volkanovski but got back in the win column with a second-round TKO over Steve Garcia at UFC White House.

Both fighters have elite grappling but are also willing strikers. Oliveira won’t be able to hold Lopes down as he did with Holloway. The fight will play out on the feet.

Lopes is deserving of a BMF title opportunity. Few fighters are guaranteed fireworks like Lopes.

The fun doesn’t stop there; two more fights were announced for the card, both have major implications.

In June of this year, Pereira tried to make history and become the first fighter to win a title in three weight classes. However, the fight didn’t go his way, and Ciryl Gane demolished Pereira in two rounds to regain the interim heavyweight title.

Pereira could’ve gone back to an instant title shot at 205 pounds, but he still wants to chase greatness. That said, Pavlovich is one of the toughest tests at heavyweight. A forward-pressure, heat-seeking missile with bombs in his hands.

This isn’t a tune-up for Pereira to get back towards the title. Pavlovich has a real chance to send Pereira out of heavyweight, and maybe even retire him.

Another fighter coming off a TKO win at the White House, Bo Nickal entered the UFC as one of the most hyped up prospects ever. With a 6-1 record in the UFC, Nickal has largely beaten journeymen or fellow prospects.

Now he faces a bona fide contender with frightening power in his hands and a strong grasp of the ground game. Joe Pyfer is by far the most experienced UFC fighter Nickal has faced and is ranked No. 4 in the world.

Frankly, Nickal hasn’t done anything to warrant a fight within the top five, but he has a chance to catapult up the rankings and become a real contender.
