Celta Vigo reach transfer agreement with PSV Eindhoven

The brass at La Liga outfit Celta Vigo have this weekend closed a transfer agreement with their counterparts at Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven. This comes amid the understanding that the Celestes are all set to land Couhaib Driouech.

Driouech, for his part, is a 24-year-old attacker, who chiefly takes to the pitch on the left wing. The former Moroccan youth international has spent the last two seasons plying his trade in PSV colours, fresh off a campaign giving rise to an impressive 17 direct goal contributions.

Such exploits were widely expected to culminate in Driouech departing the Eredivisie earlier this month, after Scottish heavyweights Rangers tied up a deal for his signing.

After his Ibrox switch fell through at the last, however, the gifted winger now instead looks primed for a move to Spain. As per a report from transfer market insider Matteo Moretto, citing fellow journalist Mounir Boualin:

‘Celta Vigo seal the signing of Couhaib Driouech, winger from PSV Eindhoven.’
