Carabao Cup: Brighton boss provides injury update on Azeez

Brighton head coach, Fabian Hurzeler, has provided an injury update on Femi Azeez ahead of Brighton’s Carabao Cup third round clash against Manchester United.

Azeez arrived the AMEX from Sky Bet Championship club Millwall on transfer deadline day.

The Nigeria international’s debut has however been delayed due to a minor hamstring injury.

The winger picked up the injury during Millwall’s opening day clash with Bristol City.

Hurzeler revealed that Azeez will be assessed ahead of his side’s trip to Old Trafford on Wednesday

The other Nigerian at the club Zadok Yohanna will miss the game due to injury.

Yohanna is expected to return to action after the upcoming international break.

Brighton head into the game in buoyant mood following Sunday’s 5-0 win at Coventry City.
