Can’t Wait For Saturday On Halloween, look for lots of scares for ranked teams

Last Saturday’s stunning upsets can’t happen again, can they?

On what was expected to be a quiet week, seven Top 25 teams got beat. Five of the losses came against unranked squads.

In one of the most volatile starts for ranked teams in poll history, this weekend looks pretty safe. Until it isn’t.

There are only two games matching ranked teams: No. 22 Arizona at No. 13 Texas Tech and No. 17 Florida against No. 3 Georgia.

I’m thinking the following ranked teams might have some trouble Saturday: No. 25 Wisconsin at Iowa. The Hawkeyes are favored, No. 8 BYU, again, against improving Arizona State, No. 20 Northwestern at desperate Oregon, No. 6 Utah at Cincinnati and No. 2 Ohio State at Southern California.

A couple of notes: Cincinnati just knocked off Texas Tech last week and wants more. And the Trojans will eventually put it all togeether.
