Dallas Cowboys star Can anyone guard Cowboys’ CeeDee Lamb?CeeDee Lamb made a firm declaration regarding his skillset of handling defenders as a standout receiver in the NFL.

Lamb has been playing in the NFL sine 2020, going through his seventh season with the Cowboys. He shines as one of the best receivers in the entire league, often pulling off incredible connections with quarterback Dak Prescott.

Lamb spoke with reporters on Thursday, discussing topics ahead of the Cowboys’ Week 4 contest. The receiver answered a question about the possibility of any defender being able to guard him, which his answer was short and swift.

“Do you think you can be guarded,” a reporter asked.

“No. I don’t think I could be guarded,” Lamb said.

“No. I don’t think I could be guarded.”

What lies ahead for CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys

CeeDee Lamb has firm belief in his star talents, being able to outmatch defenders in any game. While the star defenders certainly frustrate him from time to time, he still finds a way to pull off quality catches in big moments.

The 2026 campaign sees Lamb in the top 10 stats of the more important categories. He has made 20 catches for 309 yards and three touchdowns after the first three games. He ranks sixth, fourth and fourth in those respective areas.

Dallas has a 1-2 record to start the 2026 campaign, losing to the New York Giants before beating the Washington Commanders then falling to the Baltimore Ravens. They sit at third place in the NFC East Division standings, leading over the Washington Commanders while trailing the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles.

In terms of the conference standings, they find themselves at 10th place. They are above the Commanders and the New Orleans Saints while being under the Los Angeles Rams and the Giants.

The Cowboys will look forward to their next matchup, being on the road. They take on the Houston Texans in Week 4 as kickoff commences on Oct. 4 at 1 p.m. ET.
