Calvary football's Braylun Huglon verbally commits to Colorado State

Calvary Baptist football standout Braylun Huglon has made a decision on his college future.

The 5-foot-10, 170-pound senior will ink with Colorado State this fall, he noted on his X post and confirmed to The Times.

“I’d say the coaching staff for sure,” Huglon said about why he chose CSU. “I liked how they treated me up there, and speaking with coach (Jim) Mora and coach (Pryce) Tracy and coach (Caleb) Wilson, they made me feel as comfortable as ever. And they made my family feel at home and treated them with much respect.”

What BTW, Calvary, Woodlawn football teams learned in the spring

A multi-position player for Calvary coach Rodney Guin, Huglon said the CSU coaches plan to use him as a slot receiver. A Shreveport Times first-team athlete, Huglon caught 76 passes for 1,474 yards and 21 TDs last season. He also played cornerback, returned punts and kickoffs.

Huglon held offers tom Houston, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss and Texas Tech.
