‘Call Adin Ross…’ Leonard Fournette challenges Emmanuel Acho to box him over Caleb Williams take

Emmanuel Acho has found himself on the receiving end of a lot of criticism for his comments about Caleb Williams.

Williams left the field with a significant injury during the Bears’ Week 2 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. The Bears quarterback was visibly emotional as he was carried off on a gurney.

However, the injury didn’t prove to be as severe as once feared, with reports emerging that Williams had strained his hamstring.

Speaking on his podcast, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Leonard Fournette called out Emmanuel Acho for trying to tear down Caleb Williams over his recent injury.

Fournette even challenged Acho to a fight over his comments, as he was truly enraged by what the former NFL star said about Williams.

“Emmanuel Acho, I’m sick of this… How are you going to tell somebody how to cope with an injury? You’re saying he’s fist-bumping… You’re an athlete!

“You know for a fact that all the hard work, the massages, the needling, everything. How can you say that? I see why people don’t like you. You say s— for clickbait!

“How can you tell somebody how to cope with their injury. You know this game… Do you know how hard it is to see if your hamstring is 100% or not? Stop clickbaiting, bro…

“I’m gonna call Adin Ross. We’re going to set up a fight. I’m going to DDT the f— out of you. Why are you doing that to these young guys? You’re a negative Nancy!”

Fournette, who won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in 2021, has experience playing at a high level in the NFL, and knows how difficult the wear and tear of that life can be.

Perhaps this is why he was so infuriated with what Acho had to say about Williams, a young quarterback who had a moment of vulnerability and couldn’t hide his pain.
