CAFCC: Akala calls for support as Shooting Stars prepare for CS Sfaxien clash

Shooting Stars midfielder, Olakunle Akala, has urged the club supporters to keep faith with the team ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup clash against Tunisian side CS Sfaxien.

The Oluyole Warriors will host the Tunisian side in the first preliminary round first leg tie on Saturday, 5 September at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena in Abeokuta.

Akala said the players are working hard to key into the tactics of the new technical adviser Salisu Yusuf.

“We are very prepared for the CS Sfaxien game as the coach is trying to bring his own tactics to improve our performance,” Akala told 3SCfantv.

“It’s barely two weeks since his arrival and part of his hard work was evident in our performance in the league opener against Inter Lagos.

“In subsequent games we will try to do our best just don’t give up on us.”

Shooting Stars will do battle with CS Sfaxien in the return leg in Sfax, on Sunday, 13 September.
