Bucs vs. Steelers odds: Opening lines for Week 6 matchup

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off their first victory of the 2026 season after pulling off a surprising 24-16 road win over the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football. Now, Tampa Bay returns home to face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6. But are oddsmakers giving the Bucs any respect following their upset victory?

According to odds reported from FanDuel, Tampa Bay is a 2.5-point underdog at home against Pittsburgh.

Point spread: Bucs +2.5
Point total: 40.5
Moneyline: Bucs +118, Steelers -138

The Buccaneers improved to 1-4 after stunning Dallas on the road, picking up a much-needed victory following four consecutive losses to begin the season. Tampa Bay entered the matchup as a heavy underdog but managed to come away with the win despite its struggles through the first month of the season.

Pittsburgh, meanwhile, is coming off a 34-22 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. The Steelers will now travel to Tampa Bay looking to build on that performance, while the Buccaneers hope their Thursday night victory can provide a spark moving forward.

Despite Tampa Bay’s recent success, the oddsmakers are still giving Pittsburgh the edge in what projects to be a competitive matchup.

The game between the Bucs and Steelers is scheduled for Sunday, October 18, with kickoff set for 1:00 PM ET at Raymond James Stadium.
