The Denver Broncos plan to sign outside linebacker David Agoha to their practice squad on Monday, according to the Denver Gazette‘s Chris Tomasson. NFL clubs are allowed to sign 16 players to practice squads, but there’s an exception for up to one international player. So the Broncos will have 17 practice squad players this fall, with the Nigerian-born Agoha as their international exception.

Agoha (6-4, 252 pounds) was one of four pass rushers who worked out for Denver on Aug. 6. The 25-year-old outside linebacker originally entered the league through the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2023. He spent part of last season on the Tennessee Titans’ practice squad and was waived by Tennessee earlier this month.

The Broncos are busy trimming their roster down to 53 players ahead of Sunday evening’s deadline. After players clear waivers on Monday, Denver can officially begin signing players to the practice squad.
