Brighton's Chema Andrés backs Harry Kane for Ballon d’Or after "suffering" against him at Stuttgart

Over the summer, Chema Andrés left VfB Stuttgart to join Brighton & Hove Albion in the Premier League.

Before making the switch to England, Andrés had the opportunity to face Harry Kane multiple times, and it seems the Bayern Munich forward made a lasting impression on the Spaniard.

When asked by El Chiringuito TV who he would give the Ballon d’Or to, Andrés chose Kane.

“I’ve had to suffer playing against him in Germany. I think he’s had an incredible season,” he explained.

Kane is among the leading candidates for the award, which will be handed out in October, alongside Barcelona‘s Lamine Yamal and Real Madrid‘s Kylian Mbappé.
