According to multiple reports, a Lubbock County judge has granted the Texas Tech quarterback the injunction that he was seeking in his legal battles against the NCAA, making him eligible to compete for the Red Raiders this upcoming college football season.

Sorsby stepped away from the program on Monday, April 27 to enter a residential treatment program for his gambling addiction that dated back to his true freshman season at Indiana in 2022.

Should Sorsby ultimately be ruled ineligible to play in college football, he could apply to enter the NFL’s supplemental draft. While a date for the draft hasn’t been set, the deadline to apply to enter is June 22, according to CBS Sports.
