Braves News: Giants on deck, All-Star voting, and more

Coming off a sweep by the San Diego Padres, the Atlanta Braves will travel to San Francisco for a three game set with the Giants. Atlanta enters play with a 48-31 record and is 3-7 in their last ten games. The Giants, however, have done slightly better and won five of their last ten. They enter play under .500, with a 33-47 record.

Reynaldo López, Bryce Elder, and Chris Sale are each penciled in to start. The series gets underway late Friday night, with first pitch scheduled for 10:15 ET.

Five Braves have advanced in the All-Star voting as we near the end of the voting window.

After recently undergoing elbow surgery, the Philadelphia Phillies have placed outfielder Johan Rojas on the 60-day injured list. 

The New York Mets placed infielder Marcus Semien on the 10-day injured list with a left hip flexor strain. 

The Athletics placed INF/OF Zack Gelof on the 10-day injured list with a right hand contusion. The move is retroactive to June 24.
