Itauma was on top during the fight’s early stages against Hrgovic, but had to be carried from the ring on a stretcher to the hospital from the O2 Arena.

The world heavyweight title that Hrgovic won was vacated by Ukrainian fighter, Oleksandr Usyk.

Speaking after beating Itauma, Hrgovic said, “I’m the present, and he is definitely the future. He is an amazing fighter, but he needed more experience.”
