Bournemouth have no intention of giving Liverpool a cut-price deal for Rayan

· · 2 min read

Bournemouth have made it clear that they will not be forced into parting ways with Brazilian international Rayan next summer, according to Ekrem Konur.

Only arriving at the Vitality back in January following an initial £24.7million move from Vasco da Gama, the 20-year-old is widely regarded as one of Europe’s hottest attacking starlets.

Bagging a famous European strike in the Basque Country as the Cherries opened their iconic Europa League adventure with a 2-1 victory against Real Sociedad on Thursday night, Rayan certainly finds his stock at a red-hot high.

Surprisingly included in Carlo Ancelotti’s World Cup squad over the summer, the six-cap international is already attracting plenty of heavyweight interest from across the continent.

Embarking on what appears to be a sudden rise to superstardom, Konur reported this week that Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Bournemouth’s attacking ace and he is quickly emerging as one of their standout targets ahead of next summer.

Brought to the Premier League by new Liverpool boss Andoni Iraola only this year, Rayan and his former manager reportedly still hold a close relationship and the Spanish tactician is keen on a reunion at Anfield.

However, with the Brazilian starlet sat on a contact at the Vitality that runs until the summer of 2031, Konur has stated that Bournemouth have no intention on budging on the 20-year-old’s £130million release clause.
