Bournemouth & Brighton Eyeing a Move for Lazio Midfielder

Lazio could soon receive offers for Kenneth Taylor, who has reportedly landed on the shortlists of Bournemouth and Brighton.

Kenneth Taylor Swiftly Became a Lazio Stalwart

The Dutchman is an Ajax youth product who became a stalwart for the Amsterdam-based giants before sealing a move to the Italian capital in January 2026. Due to Matteo Guendouzi’s departure, former Lazio head coach Maurizio Sarri immediately thrust Taylor into the action, and he’s been a key player for the club ever since.

This season, the 24-year-old has already contributed with two goals and as many assists. Gennaro Gattuso recently lauded his impact on the team, describing him as a ‘fantastic’ player capable of spotting things others cannot. He was also called up by Xavi Hernandez for his four games in charge of the Netherlands.

Bournemouth & Brighton Tracking Taylor

According to TEAMtalk, Taylor’s exploits in Rome have earned him interest from Premier League clubs, especially Bournemouth, who are preparing for life without their in-demand star Alex Scott. With the England international heavily linked to Chelsea, the Cherries are monitoring several profiles capable of replacing him, including the Lazio midfielder and his Dutch compatriot Kees Smit.

Bournemouth and Lazio did business last January, with the English club signing Christos Mandas on loan with an option to buy, but they eventually opted against keeping the Greek goalkeeper, who returned to Formello without making a single appearance during his six-month stint in the British Isles.

How Much Would Taylor Cost

Taylor remains tied to the Aquile with a contract valid until June 2030. The Alkmaar native cost Claudio Lotito’s side circa €17 million. Transfermarkt estimates his current value at €25 million, but Lazio are unlikely to entertain any offers below €40 million.
