Bold predictions for Week 4 of 2026 NFL season

New headlines keep breaking in the NFL. Following Week 3, the Green Bay Packers offense is out of sync, the Philadelphia Eagles offense is anemic, Miami Dolphins RB De’Von Achane is done for the season, and the Las Vegas Raiders remain undefeated.

Parity in the NFL remains undefeated. There is a lot of football remaining, and more headlines will break on a weekly basis. As the league prepares for Week 4, here are seven bold predictions.
will secure three trips to the end zone

New York welcomes Arizona following a big Week 3 win. As the season continues without quarterback Jaxson Dart, Cam Skattebo continues to be the offense’s focus. Skattebo will exploit one of the league’s worst defenses against the run, having success during the team’s first possession.

drops to 0-4 on a heartbreaking loss

The season hasn’t started well for Houston. The defense entered the season with championship-winning grades but has shown an inability to defend the pass. Following last weekend’s two-point loss, the Texans are eager to secure their first victory against their in-state rivals. The defense plays well, limiting the damage done by Dallas‘s offense. In the end, Dallas kicks Brandon Aubrey, handing Houston its fourth loss on a game-winning field goal.

Las Vegas moves to sole possession in the AFC West

The early part of this season has been a rejuvenation for the Raiders and Chiefs. Las Vegas has tied its win total from last season, and Kansas City is ridding itself of last season’s woes. Defense has been the key to both teams’ early-season success. On Sunday, a defensive battle ensues, as both offenses are limited in the first half. In a battle of defenses surrendering less than 20 PPG, the Raiders’ offense has the final blow.

Prediction: In a game controlled by defense, Las Vegas secures a 20-16 win and moves to first place in the AFC West.
will exploit Washington’s defense for five touchdowns

The Commanders pulled off the upset last weekend against Seattle. The team could’ve easily dropped to 0-3. Washington’s biggest issue is the defense surrendering the 6th–most yards to opposing offenses. The defense has played better at stopping the run, but Indianapolis‘ Jonathan Taylor will carry the team Sunday, improving to a .500 record.

Miami’s season has gone as many predicted. They are struggling on defense and received a major blow when De’Von Achane suffered a season-ending injury. On Sunday, Miami faces a Minnesota team that has been on the right side of luck. That said, the Dolphins play carefree football, and third-year running back Ollie Gordon has a big day.

Prediction: The Dolphins drop to 0-4, but running back Ollie Gordon steals the show, finishing with 130 total yards and two touchdowns.

Sunday’s game, featuring Jacksonville at Cincinnati, carries a lot of weight. Each team will be fighting to improve to 3-1. The Jaguars and Bengals are evenly matched on offense and defense. However, Jacksonville takes advantage of a Cincinnati secondary that has surrendered the 5th–most passing yards. Wide receiver Parker Washington is the main beneficiary.
