Boiler Alert! Purdue Football vs. Indiana State Preview

We’ve avoided it for as long as we could folks. With now 6 weeks to go before the first Purdue football game it’s time to take a look at the upcoming Purdue football season. AS there are 6 weeks left we can do two a week and then we’ve got 12 opponents to look at and review. So, let’s do it! This week is going to be looking ahead to the week 1 game against the Indiana State Sycamores.

Listen, this is a game where you won’t learn much about what Purdue will be going into the remainder of their non conference season. This is a game that Purdue HAS to win and HAS to perform to show the fans something. Anything. But again, what can you learn from taking on an FCS team and beating them down? It’s an almost guaranteed win, but it’s basically an exhibition game. So, let’s chat about it and start getting in the mindset of Purdue football!
