Bills vs Chargers weather forecast for game conditions in Orchard Park

Mild temperatures and mostly cloudy skies should make for perfect football weather in Orchard Park when the 2-0 Buffalo Bills square off against the 0-2 Los Angeles Chargers.

Fall in Western New York brings some of the best weather of the year and fans making the pilgrimage to the new Highmark Stadium will be greeted by temperatures in the mid to upper 60s, no precipitation and comfortable humidity. It’s shaping up to continue the ideal start to the season for the Bills’ new stadium.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo predicts a game time temperature of 66 degrees, which should remain steady throughout the duration. Winds out of the northeast should be only about 8 mph with cloud cover around 65%.

The AccuWeather forecast calls for similar temperatures and intermittent clouds, signaling good weather for players and fans. While wind gusts are predicted to reach 21 mph, the stadium’s design mitigates the effect of wind on the field.

The undefeated Bills are 7-point favorites over the winless Chargers, who have lost each of their first two games by the same score, 26-14. The over/under predicts more scoring in this game, set at 50 points.

While there are some wind gusts in the forecast, the sustained wind is at or close to the NFL-standard 7 mph. With no precipitation in the forecast and pleasant temperatures, weather shouldn’t affect the outcome of this game.
