Bemidji brings 15 teams to Blaine, returns with 3 championships

Jun. 8—BLAINE — Of the 15 Bemidji Youth Soccer teams that competed in the All-American Cup in Blaine over the weekend, a third of them competed for a championship.

Three of them won championships.

The U19 girls, U14 girls and the U12 boys all won their respective brackets to take home first-place finishes. The U19 boys fell in their championship game, as did the U12 girls.

The U19 girls are coached by Paul Ekhoff, the U14 girls are coached by Dan Gannon and the U12 boys are led by Mike Ceballos.
