Belgium star Romelu Lukaku finds new home with Fenerbahce in Turkey

Romelu Lukaku has found his next home.

Belgium’s all-time leading scorer is now a member of Fenerbahçe in Turkey’s Süper Lig, he announced in an Instagram post on Thursday, Aug. 13.

“Day 1 at this beautiful club,” he wrote with a gallery featuring a photo of himself on a field in the club’s blue and yellow training uniform and other promotional images. “Thank you for the love and the amazing messages. Time to get to work.”

Fenerbahçe shared the news of Lukaku’s signing a day earlier with a graphic that said, “Big Rom. Bigger Dreams” and he was welcomed at the airport by a throng of supporters.
