Bears sign former NFL punt return yards leader amid WR injuries

The Chicago Bears have signed veteran wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud on Monday, according to the NFL’s transaction wire.

The move comes after injuries to receivers Luther Burden III and rookie Zavion Thomas. While Thomas is day-to-day and not expected to miss much time with a knee injury, Burden is expected to be sidelined the entire preseason and ready in time for Week 1.
