Bayern Munich received €500k for Armindo Sieb
Bayern Munich received €500 in transfer fees for Armindo Sieb from LAFC of Major League Soccer despite having an approximate transfer value of €2.5 million. The German striker transferred to Bayern in 2020 from Hoffenheim and played over 50 matches with the U-19 and second teams and scored 12 goals. He only made one appearance for the first team before being sent out on two separate loan stints.
Sieb scored 17 goals in 66 matches over two season during his time at Greuther Fürth. This loan stint led to his highest market value to date, but Bayern was still not ready for him to stay in Munich. About the time that he was sent on loan to Mainz in 2024, his market value was listed at about €4 million. However, in 62 matches with Mainz, his value started to decline.
This offseason has been a purging of loanees from the first team. This, and the partnership with LAFC, likely led to the lower transfer fee.
