Bayern Munich is planning on keeping Harry Kane, but Tottenham Hotspur plans to join Real Madrid and FC Barcelona in pursuit of the English star. Down the road, Saudi Arabia and MLS could also be options:

Bayern Munich remain confident they will tie Harry Kane down to a new long-term contract despite growing interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, with Tottenham among the sides tracking his situation, TEAMtalk understands.

We understand Bayern have been in discussions with Kane’s representatives for several months and, internally, there is little concern over the outcome.Sources close to the German champions insist it is viewed as a matter of “when, not if” Kane signs fresh terms. That confidence has not stopped clubs from monitoring developments, though.

TEAMtalk can reveal intermediaries have been actively sounding out potential options for Kane and making both the player and his representatives aware of the interest, although there is no suggestion those individuals are acting directly on Kane’s behalf.

The Saudi Pro League continues to admire the England skipper, but sources indicate Kane has no interest in making that move at this stage of his career. A switch to Major League Soccer is viewed far more favourably, although that is considered a long-term possibility rather than an immediate option.

Across Europe, interest remains significant. We understand Barcelona have made enquiries regarding Kane’s contractual situation, while Real Madrid have also requested to be kept informed should circumstances change over the coming months.

As for interest from Tottenham, Real Madrid, and FC Barcelona, those clubs are surely appealing to Kane, but his next decision (extension with FC Bayern or transfer) will likely just come down to his level of comfort with where he currently plays.

As of now, there is no reason to think that Kane is experiencing the slightest level of discomfort in Germany.

Álvarez, 26, is a different striker to Robert Lewandowski, who joined Chicago Fire after the expiry of his contract, but the Argentina international is Flick’s desired replacement because he can score goals and surprise his opponents through his different types of movements. Barcelona chiefs Deco and Joan Laporta also remain committed to signing him, especially as he has put pressure on Atleti to let him join the Blaugrana for a fee of over €100 million.

✅ It is TRUE: Bayern plan on using Arijon Ibrahimović to back up the four main attackers. It’s an opportunity. It’s the same as what they’ve done with Noël Aséko (who has the same management). They’ve also tried to bring Aséko into the squad to see how he gets on before potentially giving him away. However, Frankfurt came in fast with an offer, which is why there are now negotiations. Bayern Munich would like to have a fee of €12m, but Frankfurt says they don’t have the money for this kind of deal. But Bayern know they have the money, as they paid €55m already for Brown!

They have to create money, and if such a talent, like Aséko, has an offer, they will discuss it. The same goes for Jonathan Asp Jensen, who was the subject of an offer from Deportivo La Coruña. Bayern Munich has the idea of €7m for him. Let’s say Bayern get €10m for Aséko, €7m for Jensen, and then you have Ibrahimović, who also has a market. Bayern think it’s good to keep this talent, as they need backup options for this position. However, if there’s a good offer on the table, Bayern Munich will discuss that! So, let’s keep an eye on things as the window progresses. At the moment, it seems like Arijon Ibrahimović will stay, but I think there could be some movement here as well.
