Bayern Munich News: Benfica pushing for João Palhinha?; FC Bayern eyeing Man City starlet; Media fight!; and MORE!
Bayern Munich could have another option for midfielder João Palhinha as Benfica might have some interest in the 31-year-old:
Benfica are currently the club showing the most interest in João Palhinha and are preparing a bid in the region of €20m fixed plus €5m in performance related add-ons. Benfica coach Marco Silva, who worked with Palhinha at Fulham, sees him as his desired target in midfield and wants to reunite with him. Palhinha is very interested in a return to Portugal/Lisbon.

At this point, Bayern Munich might not care too much about where Palhinha goes, just as long as he takes his €12 million salary package off of its books. Getting that much would be a steal for the Bavarians, who have no use for Palhinha.
Arsenal might be ready to drop a ton of look on Aston Villa midfielder Morgan Rogers…or they are — at least — thinking about it:
Arsenal must meet Aston Villa’s valuation if they want to sign attacking midfielder Morgan Rogers, according to Football Insider. The Gunners are believed to be at the front of the queue for the 23-year-old but, with five years remaining on his contract, Villa are expected to stand firm with their demands of a £130 million transfer fee. Rogers scored 10 goals in 37 Premier League matches last season, and is one of the top names on manager Mikel Arteta’s shortlist.

There might not be anything we like more than seeing two media members ready to throw down. Bonus points if they are working like these two chaps:
A completely crazy and embarrassing incident at the press conference of the Moroccan national team ahead of the World Cup quarterfinal against France. While Brahim Díaz is answering the very first question, two reporters suddenly start yelling at each other in the back rows. A Moroccan journalist claims a French journalist hit him. FIFA staff have to intervene … @SkySportDE

Correction: It was a dispute between a Moroccan reporter and a Brazilian reporter.

These guys should have just thrown down.
Bayern Munich, Manchester City, and Arsenal are all watching Manchester City prospect Xavier Parker pretty closely:
Manchester City are battling to keep hold of teenage sensation Xavier Parker, with TEAMtalk understanding that virtually every major club in Europe is attempting to prise the highly-rated midfielder away from the Etihad, including Manchester United and Arsenal.
Our sources can confirm Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have all made approaches as they attempt to tempt Parker back to London after his move from West Ham United‘s academy to City in 2024.
The race is not confined to England. Indeed, we can confirm that Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig have all held discussions with Parker’s camp as Bundesliga clubs continue their long-standing policy of targeting Europe’s best young talent.
Real Madrid are also fully aware of the midfielder’s situation and have checked on his availability, although they are currently monitoring developments rather than actively pushing for a deal.

Even if FC Barcelona acquires Borussia Dortmund star Karimn Adeyemi, it will not stop them from chasing Julián Alvarez:
Adeyemi will not interfere in the Julián Alvarez operation.
Now Barça is negotiating with Borussia Dortmund the conditions of the transfer. The idea is to close the deal as soon as possible. @Luis_F_Rojo @marca

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both keeping tabs on RB Leipzig Antonio Nusa, who has played a key role with Norway this summer:
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are battling over the signature of RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa, according TEAMtalk. The Bundesliga club are reported to have set a £51 million valuation for the 21-year-old Norway international, who has been monitored by both clubs for some time, with the Premier League expected to be his next destination despite Barcelona also keeping tabs on his situation. Nusa scored four goals and provided three assists in 31 league appearances last season, and is reported to be open to going in search of a new challenge when he returns from the FIFA World Cup.
