Barcelona set to earn €30m over three years from new sponsorship agreement with Dubai company
According to Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona are set to enter into a new long-term sponsorship agreement with a company based out of the Middle East.
As per the report, Barça will receive around €10 million per year from Ohana Real Estate Development and Construction LLC during the first three years of a long-term agreement to exploit the club’s brand through a luxury residential development in Dubai.
The deal, along with an agreement with Babylon Park for an indoor family entertainment centre at the Spotify Camp Nou, will be put before the club members for ratification at the club’s Ordinary General Assembly on 19 September.
Barça brand to feature on shirt from 2027
The report claims that Barcelona’s agreement with Ohana to develop a luxury residential complex using the Barça brand in the United Arab Emirates will run for more than 25 years.
Ohana already operates Manchester City Yas Residences on Yas Canal in Abu Dhabi.

Under the Barcelona agreement, the company will pay the club its highest fees during the first three years, at approximately €10 million per season.
Barcelona has already received between €2 million and €3 million as a deposit towards the agreement.
The arrangement requires approval under Article 20.9 of Barcelona’s statutes, which covers advertising on the club’s shirt.
As part of the agreement, the name chosen for the Barça-branded complex in Dubai will appear on the back of Barcelona’s shirt in domestic competitions for three seasons, beginning in July 2027.

The Champions League will be excluded from the arrangement, with the Fundacio Barça logo continuing to occupy that position.
Sponsorship to turn into a long-term licensing agreement
Once the initial three-year period ends, Ohana’s relationship with Barcelona will change.
The company will become a licence holder for the Barça brand, paying the club slightly more than €1 million per year throughout the remainder of the agreement, which is expected to last for more than 25 years.
The project therefore gives Barcelona an immediate boost in commercial income while establishing a long-term source of revenue from the use of its brand in Dubai.
