Barcelona eyeing Gabriel Rajkovic signing

The scouting department at La Liga giants Barcelona have cast their eye towards Norway with a view to securing player reinforcements for the future.

This comes amid the understanding that the Blaugrana are keeping a close eye on the development of Valerenga sensation Gabriel Rajkovic.

Rajkovic, for his part, is a 15-year-old attacker, who chiefly takes to the pitch from the left wing, but is also more than capable of filling in on the right or even through the middle.

The starlet recently stole the headlines in his home country, upon becoming the youngest goalscorer ever in the Eliteserien during a meeting with Bodø/Glimt.

And watching on from the stands, it is understood, were representatives from none other than Spanish champions Barcelona. As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, citing Norwegian outlet TV2:

‘Scouts from the Catalan club traveled to watch the promising player in the match against Bodö/Glimt on August 8th, the dayRajkovic scored his first professional goal.’

Barca are expected to continue scouting Rajkovic over the weeks and months ahead, all the while weighing up a future offer for his signature.
