Ballon d’Or: I think of two players – Lamine Yamal

Barcelona winger, Lamine Yamal, has said he thinks of two players when it comes to the Ballon d’Or.

According to him, they are Lionel Messi and Ronaldinho.

Yamal, in an interview with France Football, described the type of players he believes deserve to win individual awards.

“Ballon d’Or means a different player. No goals scored, nothing like that,” Yamal said.

“When I think about the Ballon d’Or, I think of Messi, Ronaldinho, players like that, who are different, who bring a smile when you watch them play.

“The Ballon d’Or recognises the best player of the year, a unique player, the one who gives pleasure watching, the one for whom you tune into a match just to see him.”
