Ballon d'Or 2026: He delights me most - Daniel Riolo picks winner

French football pundit, Daniel Riolo, has picked the player to win this year’s Ballon d’Or.

The winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or will be announced in London tonight.

Speaking ahead of the Ballon d’Or ceremony, Riolo backed Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal to win the award because the Spain international delights him the most.

“Since it’s very undecided this year, I have gone with the best soccer player [Yamal],” Riolo said of Yamal as quoted by RMC Sport via After Foot.

“The one who delights me the most. He is the most thrilling player.”

Yamal won the LaLiga title with Barcelona last season and also the 2026 World Cup with Spain.
