Arsenal need to pay £80m for Sandro Tonali

Arsenal are interested in signing Sandro Tonali from Premier League rivals Newcastle United in the summer of 2026, according to Football Insider.

It has also been reported that Newcaste will demand £80 million for the Italy international midfielder.

Journalist Pete O’Rourke said: “(Newcastle will) be looking for £80 million plus for Sandro Tonali, maybe even more, looking at some of the other midfielders that have moved in the Premier League in recent seasons.

“They might have to sell a couple of their big stars just to help allow Eddie Howe to spend in the summer window, and Tonali, no doubt, will be a player of huge interest to a number of clubs.

“There’s been talk of interest from Arsenal, and we all know that there is going to be interest from clubs in his native Italy as well, but they will struggle to afford to sign him right now.”
