Arizona Cardinals 2026 live cut tracker
The Arizona Cardinals’ preseason is officially over and the regular season kicks off for them on September 13th in Los Angeles against the Chargers.
However, the first order of business for the Cardinals is to cut their 2026 roster down from 90 to their initial 53-man roster by Sunday, August 30th at 3:00 p.m. Arizona Time.
Here is something that is wild for the Cardinals even before roster cuts happen for every team in the NFL… According to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, no team has longer odds to make the playoffs in 2026 than the Arizona Cardinals at +1600.
That is an insane number when you remember that the Miami Dolphins exist and are only +1500. In the NFC, the next team with the lowest odds is the Washington Commanders at +285.
No one believes in the Arizona Cardinals.
With the preseason over, the Arizona Cardinals will begin their roster cuts to get down to their 53-man roster on Sunday and we will update it as we get the information.
The Cardinals are historically one of the last teams to announce their cuts, but maybe this year will be different.

The Cardinals are bringing in a veteran as they have traded a 2028 sixth-round draft pick for TE Hunter Long (6′-5″, 243 pounds) along with a 2028 seventh-round pick. Long played for LaFleur while with the Rams, so he is already knowledgeable about the new system. Long is entering his sixth NFL season with 46 games played, 20 receptions for 153 yards, and two touchdowns. Known as a great blocker with a big frame.
The Ravens released an OT prospect, Tank Lichtenhan who is 6′-7″, 329 pounds who would provide good depth.

An intriguing claim candidate, as the 6-7, 329-pounder played 176 of 208 offensive snaps this preseason — and spent all of 2025 on the Ravens PS as a swing tackle. pic.twitter.com/nMQ5CjW458

The Chiefs have dropped an EDGE rusher who perhaps could help the Cardinals’ stagnant pass rush. Arizona has the waiver claim position.
Chiefs released veteran defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah.
