After Ant show in Miami, team effort leads Wolves to win over Magic

If the opening day win over the Miami Heat was all about Anthony Edwards, Friday night’s dismantling of the Orlando Magic was about the collective.

The Minnesota Timberwolves moved to 2-0 on the season after a second impressive win in Florida, rolling over the Magic 115-93 on a night that seven players hit double figures, and two others were one point away.

Edwards was naturally among them even on an off-night by his standards, finishing tied as the top scorer along with Jaden McDaniels on 15.

The Wolves start was only 2-9 from 3-point attempts and had an overall shooting performance of just 5-23, but it ultimately didn’t matter as the Wolves displayed their strength in depth.
