The actress took to social media to lament the state of food safety in the country, noting that many commonly consumed food items are allegedly being tampered with or contaminated before reaching consumers.

“How is someone supposed to 100% avoid consuming these things?” she asked, highlighting the challenges Nigerians face in ensuring the safety of what they eat.

The actress had previously spoken about suffering serious health complications after allegedly consuming contaminated food while on a movie set in Ibadan.

She revealed that she contracted Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori), a stomach-infecting bacterium, and later developed Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), a condition she said affected her health for years.

Her latest remarks have renewed calls for stricter food safety regulations and stronger monitoring of food production and distribution across the country.
