The development was disclosed in a post shared on X on Friday by security analyst Bakatsine.

According to Bakatsine, reports of Ayuba Muhammad’s death emerged on Thursday, months after he was abducted by bandits.

The security analyst said the late politician was a former APC LGA EXCO member in Kaduna State and was also a member of the Zailaniyya Ambassador group.

Bakatsine noted that Ayuba Muhammad was widely known for his contributions to community development and was respected by many in his community.

“Yesterday, reports emerged that Ayuba Muhammad, a former APC LGA EXCO in Kaduna State, was killed by bandits after spending more than two months in captivity following his abduction.

“Ayuba Muhammad was also a member of Zailaniyya Ambassador and was remembered by many for his contributions to community development,” Bakatsine wrote.

He expressed condolences to the deceased’s family, friends and all those mourning his death.

“Condolences to his family, friends and all those grieving this loss,” Bakatsine wrote.

Lamenting the continued wave of insecurity, the security analyst questioned how long communities would continue to suffer from bandit attacks.

“How many more fathers, sons, brothers and friends must be buried before this bloodshed finally ends?” he added.
