Pittsburgh Steelers star Aaron Rodgers calls out ESPN for the network’s lack of coverage of one of the biggest alleged scandals in the NFL.

In about a month or so, the new NFL season will kick off as Aaron Rodgers will return to the league for one final campaign with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Speaking of Rodgers, the 42-year-old recently made headlines during the Pat McAfee Show over his comments about the alleged Dianna Russini scandal with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.

For years, Dianna Russini was among the most trusted NFL insiders out there. Prior to joining The Athletic, Russini earned her bread and butter with ESPN.

However, when the story about her alleged affair with Vrabel went viral, ESPN barely covered it, leading to widespread outrage among fans.

Now, Rodgers has called out the network during his recent appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

“You have literally an individual that used to work at ESPN that covers our league at the highest level, and there’s a major scandal, and it’s just, like, nobody can f______ talk about it,” Rodgers said.

He added, “What are we even doing here? If it’s affecting certain things, if there’s leaks going on, if there’s tampering going on, if that person is also an MVP voter and a Coach of the Year voter. How are we allowing these people to have an impact?”

Considering Russini was a former ESPN employee, the network’s tight-lipped stance is certainly concerning, as pointed out by Rodgers.

Rodgers seemed ready to go on a massive rant about the alleged scandal, but McAfee quickly changed the subject, showing ESPN’s hesitation in covering the Russini story in all its glory.
